Hello my friends and readers.
Yesterday i returned from Belgrade. I went there to get my Australian visa. The trip was good and of course I had some adventures. To get there i needed a Serbian visa. I got the visa in 5 hours. It cost me 27 euro. After i got my visa i went to the train station to reserve my train ticket. There, i meet with 3 guys. We will have the same flight to the same city; Sydney. We will work on the same ship, Sapphire Princess. Cool i said.
After we made the reservations, we had to make medical assurance. (We need that to pass the border).
The train was an old one. Our wagon didn’t had a heater so… after 2 hours I talked with the train guy to move us in another wagon. In the second wagon we had the same problem. The heater, only that in this wagon was too much heat, around 60 degrees Celsius. After 14 hours and 1 hour delay, we arrived in Belgrade. We were in a big hurry because the Australian embassy was open until 12. We jumped in the first taxi, and after 10 minutes we were in the front of the embassy. The taxi cost 5 euro for all 4 of us. (was a good price by the way). We got the visa in 3 hours. The consulate receive all the documents until 12, and after 2 pm they gave us the visa. We had a train back to Bucharest at 4 pm so until then we went to a fast-food to eat something. (don’t eat in McDonald’s. The food there sucks and is kinda expensive). Before that, we changed some euro. The exchange rate is something like… 100 Euro = 8000 Dinars. At returning in Bucharest we payed to the train guy 10 Euro extra each to get a seat in a sleeping wagon.
Tomorrow i must go to the recruiting agency to confirm my visa, and to get my flight details.
Take care all, and… “Vaya con Dios”.
