Welcome to Seward, welcome in Alaska, welcome in United States.
Today was a special day for me. I’m finnaly in United States. When I delivered the first breakfast, I saw mountains on the window. I asked the passenger if I can take a look outside. I couldn’t wait for my brake to go on open deck or to go ashore. I open the door of the balcony, and I was amazed. It was a nice view, the ship was sailing between the mountains. We were very close to the harbour. Finnaly America, Nikalai in United States. I couldn’t belive. I you woulded tell me two years ago that I will go to Alaska, I wouldn’t belive you. Now I do. It’s very nice here. Today I had some time to go ashore . I spent two hours ashore after six days on sea. It was a bless. I drinked a coffee, and I went to Alaska Sealife Center. It’s very nice there (by the way John, thanks for the tip ;) ). People are nice here. It’s a small town (I can’t call it a city). Everything here is just like in those old movies about the gold rush. Almost all the gift shop have different items, that reminds about those times. I didn’t buy too many things, because this is only the beginning of Alaska. I will spend few months here (I hope), so I don’t think it’s good to rush myself with buying things. Plus that… at the end of the season, the sellers will lower the prices. ;) All this views remind me of Romania. I miss my country, but I hope that some day I will have the chance to come here as a tourist 100%. To travel, to spend time as much as I want, not to be rushed by embarkation or other things. Once again, welcome to Alaska, welcome to United States. This is only the beginning.
